These terms govern every order placed through marlowesage.info, operated by Marlowe & Sage Ltd.. By placing an order, you accept these terms in full. Please read them alongside our Delivery, Returns and Privacy pages.

The goods
Marlowe & Sage sells cosmetic and personal-care products, including skincare formulations, haircare preparations, colour cosmetics, fragrances and toiletry items intended for external application to the skin, hair or nails, as defined under the retained UK Cosmetic Products Enactment Regulations 2013. Each product page describes what is included, along with quantity and form. Photographs are provided for illustration; actual packaging may vary slightly.
Ordering and contract
An order is placed once checkout is completed. We confirm it by email, though the contract is formed only upon dispatch of the goods. We reserve the right to decline an order where stock is unavailable or details cannot be verified, in which case any payment made will be refunded.
Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where relevant. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before payment is made. Accepted payment methods: Cash on delivery, Bank transfer. We may correct an evident pricing error prior to dispatch and will invite you to confirm or cancel the order.

Product images and colours
Product photographs depict the actual goods we dispatch. Screen colours may vary depending on calibration, browser settings and lighting conditions; a minor difference in shade does not constitute a defect and is not grounds for a free return or compensation. Dimensions, materials and contents are detailed on each product page.
Transfer of risk
The goods remain our responsibility until handed by the courier to you, or to the person you have named at the address provided. From that point, the risk of loss or damage passes to you. Any visible transport damage should be noted with the courier and reported to us within 48 hours.
Returns and warranty
You may return goods within 30 days of delivery, as set out on the Returns page. All cosmetic products supplied by Marlowe & Sage Ltd. are warranted to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where a product is found to be faulty, mis-described or not fit for purpose within six months of delivery, the customer is entitled to a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate, without prejudice to the separate 30-day return window described in this policy.
- Customized or personalized cosmetic sets or engraved packaging items
- Perishable formulations or products with a limited shelf-life once opened, such as natural or preservative-light skincare
- Opened or used cosmetic, skincare or haircare items where the hygiene seal has been broken, for bio-safety reasons
- Products inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery, such as bundled gift sets that have been assembled or altered
- Digital content, such as downloadable beauty guides or media, once accessed or unsealed by the consumer
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of Marlowe & Sage Ltd. arising from any single order shall not exceed the total value paid by the customer for that order, except in respect of death, personal injury or fraud caused by proven negligence, for which liability is not limited. Nothing within these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Age and use
You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order. Products should be used strictly as described on the label and are not intended as a substitute for medical advice.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising under them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights applicable in Scotland or Northern Ireland. Should a disagreement not be resolved through direct conversation with us, it shall be referred to the competent court of the seller's registered address, without affecting any consumer rights you hold in your country of residence.
