Hartwell Hand & Body Balm came from a simple request from long-standing customers: a single jar that could handle both dry hands and rougher patches on elbows and knees. We built it around cold-pressed almond and coconut oils, thickened gently with a touch of mineral clay for a texture that holds its shape in the jar but melts easily on contact with skin. The balm is unscented beyond the natural character of its oils, which makes it easy to layer under gloves or before bed without competing with other products. It has quickly become a jar that sits by more than one sink in the house.
