This balm began as an answer to a common complaint: most hand creams disappear within minutes, leaving little behind. We combined fine kaolin clay with cold-pressed sunflower and almond oils to create a thicker, slower-melting balm that stays on the skin's surface for longer. Lavender extract was added last, for a soft, unobtrusive scent. The balm is mixed in small batches and packed by hand into wide-mouthed amber glass jars, which we chose over plastic tubs because glass can be reused and does not carry scent from one product to another. It is a straightforward formula, built for hands that work hard through the day.
